{"id":1004761,"date":"2016-03-31T14:45:57","date_gmt":"2016-03-31T14:45:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/?post_type=news&#038;p=4761&#038;source_id=4761&#038;target_id=1004761"},"modified":"2024-10-16T10:18:18","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T08:18:18","slug":"asi-fee-schedule-introduces-new-sub-scope-model-for-asc-farm-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/news\/asi-fee-schedule-introduces-new-sub-scope-model-for-asc-farm-accreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"ASI Fee Schedule introduces new sub-scope model for ASC Farm Accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"block wysiwyg\">\n\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><strong>With the new ASI Fee Schedule in effect as of 1 March 2016, all ASC Standards which were previously managed as individual scopes have become sub-scopes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This simplifies the process for ASC accredited Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) to add additional ASC Standards to their current scope and aligns with the forthcoming ASC Core Standard, which will combine requirements applicable to all eight standards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">How does the ASI Fee Schedule affect the scope extension process for ASC CABs?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The approval step with a desk review or on-site witness assessment by ASI has been dropped<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CABs are still required to inform ASI when adding a new sub-scope to their current portfolio of ASC Standards<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CABs are still responsible for making sure that they have adequate resources for auditing new species (auditor qualifications and competencies requirements as required in the ASC Certification and Accreditation Requirements (CAR))<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ASI will review every addition of a sub-scope to decide if an annual sampling assessment is necessary<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once ASI has been informed, a CAB can move forward in the certification process as with any other audit process within the current scope of the CAB<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No application or annual fees will be invoiced for sub-scopes<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The ASI Fee Schedule, effective as of 1 March 2016, can be downloaded <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accreditation-services.com\/resources\/document-library\/download-info\/asi-inf-20-124-fee-schedule-v1-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>here<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","tags":[],"class_list":["post-1004761","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/1004761","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1004761"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1004761"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
