{"id":1000404,"date":"2015-04-13T19:32:00","date_gmt":"2015-04-13T19:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/?post_type=news&#038;p=404&#038;source_id=404&#038;target_id=1000404"},"modified":"2024-10-16T10:18:01","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T08:18:01","slug":"ascs-ceo-to-speak-at-responsible-business-forum-in-hanoi","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/news\/ascs-ceo-to-speak-at-responsible-business-forum-in-hanoi\/","title":{"rendered":"ASC&#8221;s CEO to speak at Responsible Business Forum in Hanoi"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"block wysiwyg\">\n\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><strong>The Aquaculture Stewardship Council has partnered with Global Initiatives for the 2nd Responsible Business Forum on Food and Agriculture.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Responsible Business Forum on Food and Agriculture<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from 23-24 June, is organized by Global Initiatives, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, WWF and VCCI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The forum brings together more than 350 global leaders to explore innovative and collaborative approaches to improving agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability across key commodity value chains, including aquaculture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ASC&#8217;s CEO, Chris Ninnes, is among the speakers for the two-day programme and will be chairing the aquaculture working group.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Working groups will produce recommendations on sustainable land use, equitable opportunity for small-holder farmers, increasing productivity and improving rural livelihoods while reducing environmental impacts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Early Registration: 20% discount ends Monday 20th April.
