{"id":1000255,"date":"2011-06-15T17:18:13","date_gmt":"2011-06-15T17:18:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/?post_type=news&#038;p=255&#038;source_id=255&#038;target_id=1000255"},"modified":"2024-10-16T10:17:22","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T08:17:22","slug":"1st-stakeholder-working-group-open-for-applications","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/asc-aqua.org\/news\/1st-stakeholder-working-group-open-for-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"1st Stakeholder Working Group open for applications"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"block wysiwyg\">\n\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Accreditation and Certification documents are the core of the ASC certification scheme, laying out:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The ASC Accreditation Requirements for Certification Bodies that want to certify aquaculture producers and\/or other industry players against the ASC standards for farming and\/or chain of custody<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ASC Certification Methodology for Aquaculture and Chain of Custody to be applied by Certification Bodies that outlines all the steps in the certification process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The first four standards were handed to the ASC by WWF during the recent European Seafood Exposition in Brussels, May 3: Tilapia, Pangasius, Bivalves and Abalone.
